Selah Service Reflections feature a reading from the Psalms with music produced by Selah worship leader, Jeff Johnson. There is also a two minute time for silent prayer featuring the sound of the ocean outside the Abbey of Iona, Scotland. Each reflection runs around ten minutes in length.

These have been produced as an extension of the Selah service, a contemplative Christian worship service that Jeff leads in churches, retreat centers and for pilgrimage groups. They have been designed to use individually, in small groups for prayer and bible study, and churches who wish to feature a short audio excerpt for reflection.

Since this app is web based, future audio reflections will be added without having to update the software. The Selah Service app and its programs are offered for free but they may not be used for broadcast or events for profit. Links have been provided to purchase the individual episodes and songs featured in each program, as well as PDFs of each program.

Jeff Johnson’s many ArkMusic recordings feature music from his experience of leading Selah worship as well as many collaborations with Irish flutist, Brian Dunning inspired by Stephen Lawhead’s novels and with guitarist, Phil Keaggy.
